Education

2020-2022

Pepperdine University

Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. A comprehensive three-year MA program in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. Throughout the program, I had the privilege of learning from esteemed professors and guest speakers who are leading authorities in the field, renowned authors, and practitioners with thriving private practices. This immersive experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of human behavior, therapeutic techniques, and a holistic approach to supporting individuals and families in their journey toward healing and growth."

2018-2019

Pepperdine University

Mast of Arts in Education and Teaching. A rigorous program that prioritized hands-on experience and academic excellence. This immersive program included extensive student teaching in the Los Angeles area, allowing me to develop practical skills in the classroom while earning a California single subject teaching credential in the social sciences. Additionally, I completed a Spanish Bilingual Authorization in teaching, further enhancing my ability to connect with and support diverse student populations. Throughout my studies, I had the privilege of learning from experienced school administrators and principals, who brought real-world expertise to our classrooms. Regular engagement with educators and members of the school community enriched my learning experience, providing valuable insights into effective teaching practices and fostering a commitment to lifelong learning and growth.

2013-2018

California State University, San Marcos

Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Science. In this program I engaged in a comprehensive study of psychology covering a wide range of topics. One of the most memorable aspects of my undergraduate experience was the emphasis on neuropsychology, which included both lecture-based learning and hands-on laboratory activities. Through our practicum, I had the opportunity to conduct experiments with live animals and participate in the dissection of a sheep brain, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. These experiences not only deepened my understanding of the brain and behavior but also fostered a passion for scientific inquiry and discovery.
